About Moments
Moments. It’s the one thing everybody will definitely have in their lifetime. No matter how trivial or special they are, we all create them. When we have that moment, now more than ever we can capture it, or at least try to. If nothing, we can get that moment in a picture, video or message. When you are in the moment you want to feel it, never forget it and you want to share and show others.
I may be alone at times, but with my blog and Instagram I can share and connect with friends. I can share that moment instantly. I’m simply capturing the moments, the ones that happen every day, blink and you’ll miss them. That’s what I’m trying to do in my blog, capture those moments, the moments that take your breath away and the moments that make me smile.
About the moment is a place where I share my moments, from studying in Canada, travelling and finding new foods, that will hopefully influence your moments. I hope my blog makes you smile, and maybe sparks that feeling of the moment in you too.

Hi! I’m Syona
I’m Syona, a Masters student in the UK and a Birmingham based food, lifestyle and travel blogger. I started my blog during my semester abroad to Canada in 2018.
About the moment is a place where I share my moments, from studying in Canada and England, travelling and finding new (nut-free) foods, that will hopefully influence your moments.
If you enjoy reading about nut-free or nut allergy friendly restaurants, travelling or making completely aesthetic purchases, then you have come to the right place! So be prepared for ROSE GOLD EVERYTHING.
As well as writing my blog and attending university, I also write for my university Newspaper, The Sphinx, where I am the Deputy Food and Drink Editor and I have recently become the student writer for the Liverpool Echo (#HowDoesSheDoIt right?).
I hope my blog makes you smile, and maybe sparks that feeling of the moment in you too.
