Yes, this is a dedicated post to my favourite eating spots in New York. You’re welcome.
For Pizza:
New York pizza was a priority and was naturally the first place I visited when I arrived. Johns Pizzeria by Times Square was in an ideal spot and was a lively restaurant to visit. The pizza was a classic thin crust Margherita, but was served on a metal stand. Fancy, I know.

For Pancakes:
Soft, fluffy and resembled a cake-like consistency. The classic buttermilk pancakes from Ihop were the definition of delicious and were accompanied with a variety of syrups, from old fashioned maple, pecan, strawberry and blueberry.

For Burgers:
The Shake Shack near Brooklyn Bridge was the perfect destination to try one of the worlds famous burger. The burger certainly lived up to the hype and the fries were surprisingly good as well, as I’m not normally a crinkle cut fry fan. Let’s not forget the vanilla milkshake, it was definitely one for those who like overly sweet milkshakes (so I found it glorious!).
Yes, I had burgers twice in one week, I was on holiday! But this burger was one I had to try, as it was topped with mac and cheese! Why choose between mac and cheese or a burger, when you can have both? The atmosphere at Ellen’s Stardust Diner was also contagious, with waiters and waitresses breaking out into songs and performing across the room. My last meal in New York was certainly a remarkable moment because of the great food and fantastic entertainment! Take me back please!
